Like the Far Cry New Dawn photo locations mission it’s not particularly taxing, but it’s a lovely way to while away an evening, especially if you enjoy scratching that collectible itch. There’s no trophy/achievement for squaring this collection away, sadly, but you will grab five handy perk points as a reward for your trouble for finishing off the Audiophile mission. While you can purchase a map of the music player locations through the Cartography office, there are much better things to spend your Ethanol on, so here’s our set of Far Cry New Dawn music player locations to help. To kick off, simply pick up a music player - any will do - and the side mission will commence. Finally: while we’ve done our best to keep this spoiler-free, even the locations and notes themselves may contain unwanted spoilers, so please proceed with caution if you’re trying to remain spoiler-free! Redler’s Hollow music player location (Grapple required) Okay, so we say it’s Redler’s Hollow, but really it’s a little ways to the west of that. Head west until you hit the water, turn left, and you’ll soon come to a tatty, rusty bridge. A note pinned to the door suggests you swing around the back. Grapple up, jump through your window, and the music player is yours. Big Mike’s Dale music player location To the east of Big Mike’s Dale, less than 40 metres away, you’ll hear the music player before you see it. You’ll find it secreted inside a prepper stash bunker, along with a whole load of other goodies, too. Enjoy. Frobisher’s Memory music player location (Grapple required) Head west up a steep incline and you’ll hear the music… and then realise that the player is nowhere to be seen. Annoying, eh? Turns out we need to enter from below via a hidden cavern. If you hunt along the cliff-face just a little to the east of where it says ‘Frobisher’s Memory’ on the map, you should see a lamp hinting at the way (in both daylight and at night). Head there, enter the cave, and head to the lit areas where you’ll find a makeshift bed and a letter from a very salty teenager. Turn right, and you’ll see the telltale ropes of a “Hey! Here’s a place to climb!” ledge. Grapple up, and you’ll find the elusive music player. Sein’s Sanctuary music player location Easy one, this. Head to Sein’s Sanctuary and follow the music. The player’s in the ground, hidden - badly - by some wooden planks. Kick ’em in and help yourself. Tombwater music player location (Lockpick required) Another simple one. Well. Ish. Head to Tombwater and find this ramshackle hut. You’ll see - and hear - where the music player is almost immediately, but you’ll need the lockpick perk to get into the room and snag it. Forgotten Barracks music player location (Lockpick required) Same as Tombwater, you’ll need the lockpick perk for this. Head to Forgotten Barracks, then to this white-shingled dwelling. Inside is a locked room with your music player. Rotgut Pass music player location (Lockpick required) Rinse repeat! Again, you’ll need the lockpick perk, and again, you need to head to an almost-completely-reclaimed-by-nature-building. Enter via the door in the back and once you’ve picked your way into the room, the player is hiding behind the wooden planks - you’ll hear it before you see it, of course. Fillmore’s Hovel music player location This one, too, is hiding in a prepper bunker, so you’ll hear it quite a while before you’ll see it. Clear out the goons and hop down to claim the player. Surgery’s Place music player location Though almost buried entirely, it should be easy enough to spot these cargo trains (at least, I think they’re trains?) poking outside of the hillside. Again, you’ll hear the player before you see it and, again, simply kick the planks down and grab your musical prize. Bradbury Woods music player location Head north out of Prosperity, and you’ll come to Bradbury Woods. Follow the (now incredibly tedious) music and you’ll find this dilapidated dwelling. Despite being boarded up, there’s clearly something behind the boards - and it’s even easier to see at night - so kick those boards down and help yourself to the music player… even if it’s just to stop the bloody thing from playing the same tune over and over. And that’s all Far Cry New Dawn music player locations ticked off! If you’re looking for more things to collect, our Far Cry New Dawn photo locations can help.
